It could just be me, but lately I love a good stripe. Simple, linear, practical. Though the famed striped shirt has always held a sort of Parisian “casual chic” nostalgia for me (I’m thinking Jean Seberg here), sometimes, we fall out. But now I feel as though every store I set foot into, every blog I peruse, my eye is drawn directly toward a nice, thin, clean stripe. It’s inevitable folks – time to line up.
The thing about stripes is that no matter what the occasion, they allow us to look clean and pulled together, without too much stuffiness or fuss – a cornerstone of class. It’s likely that this prestigious pattern never really falls off the radar (most things classic and/or French never do) rather sometimes we just need to add a little structure to our wardrobe.
